Our Story

While Christy Bloom Design and Build was officially established in 2014, our story dates back even further. During the 2008 recession, Christy took a leap of faith, picking up her table saw and turning her passion for creating beautiful spaces into a reality. She began her journey as a finish carpenter, specializing in crown molding, base, and trim work. Over time, her love for design grew, and she started renovating entire spaces for clients—from the studs to custom furniture, often crafting pieces herself.

The business quickly gained momentum, and with the support of a talented team, Christy Bloom Design and Build continues to grow and evolve with every project.

In 2016, we moved from a small 10x10 office at 4 Seasons Color to our current home—a fully renovated 1930s building on Wallula Ave. Many locals remember this building in its past life as a meat-packing facility, a trophy shop, a small grocery store, and even a residence. We’re proud to have preserved its history while breathing new life into it for our team and clients.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work on so many beautiful projects both inside and outside of the Walla Walla Valley. Our amazing clients and the unique, special community here have been a constant source of inspiration.
